Quick install

Use the install page. Select product and operating system, and use the displayed shell. Copy the complete plain-text command. All twelve product/platform commands create a dedicated environment, install the advertised version, check the installed application version, then run init to start onboarding. Failure guards stop the command before onboarding if installation or the version check fails. Windows Conversational includes these steps in one scoped PowerShell block; no separate start command is needed.

Current advertised versions:

  • Conversational 0.7.19 (PyPI) on Windows x64, Linux x86_64 and macOS 15 Apple silicon
  • Coder 0.6.32 (PyPI) on those three platforms
  • Governance 0.7.2 (PyPI) on those three platforms
  • Structured 0.7.3 GitHub wheel on Windows, 0.7.2 PyPI on Linux, 0.7.2 GitHub wheel on macOS 15 Apple silicon

Python 3.10 or newer is required. Windows uses PowerShell and a .cmd launcher, with environments under %USERPROFILE%\MemStrata\venvs to avoid Microsoft Store Python’s LocalAppData redirection and resulting long package-cache paths. Linux and macOS use Terminal.

On Windows, open PowerShell first. If you are using Command Prompt or Anaconda Prompt, enter powershell -NoProfile before pasting the installer. Use the install page’s copy button: copy only the commands, not prompt prefixes or previous error output. See Windows troubleshooting.

Microsoft Store listings are separate from these wheel commands. Intel Mac, Linux ARM, Alpine and Snap are not listed as available.

The 180-day trial begins after successful product activation. Reinstalling does not restart it. Product guides:
