Inspect one observed action and its policy decision
Governance records observations supplied by connected hosts. It does not invent hidden model reasoning, and a desktop install is not a legal compliance certification.
Starting material
One supported agent host you can connect. Host lifecycle hooks currently documented for Hermes, OpenClaw and OpenCode. LangChain, LangGraph and CrewAI adapters are optional modules. Email, Slack and webhooks are delivery destinations, not agent hosts.
Question
After a benign test action, ask which connected agent performed it, then open the recorded policy decision.
Expected output
An observed action with agent identity, tool, result and timestamps, plus the allow, review or block decision you configured. Empty activity needs a freshness check before you conclude that nothing happened.
Setup
Install Governance 0.7.2, activate, enroll one host, confirm it is reporting rather than only detected, then inspect one event. See the Governance guide.
Limits
Discovery, observation and enforcement are separate. A detected installation is not necessarily reporting. A post-hoc log is not a pre-tool enforcement hook. A compatibility adapter is not a certified native integration. A compatibility bridge is not a certified native integration. Local tamper evidence is not external WORM storage.
